a certified Tai Chi instructor with over 8 years of experience teaching all age groups. His unique approach to teaching kids Tai Chi blends traditional techniques with playful, engaging exercises that make learning fun and meaningful for young participants.

Focus and Concentration
Tai Chi teaches children to channel their energy into mindful movements, improving concentration and mental clarity, which can translate to better focus in school and everyday life.
Week 6
Improving Flexibility
In Week 6, we focus on gentle stretching and flowing movements to enhance flexibility. Tai Chi helps children improve their range of motion in a relaxed, non-competitive way, supporting their physical development and preventing stiffness.

Her dedication is a true testament to the benefits of Tai Chi for young minds, and she continues to inspire others with her calm, mindful approach to the practice.
The Development of Tai Chi

Tai Chi is not just about slow movements—it’s a comprehensive martial art that teaches a wide range of abilities and life skills. Through Tai Chi, children develop mind awareness, body awareness, and physical fitness. This ancient practice enhances flexibility, agility, and even self-defense skills, incorporating dynamic elements like crouching, leaping, and explosive actions.

Workshop Price:

Workshop Details:
- Duration: 4 weeks
- Sessions: Once per week
- Wednesday
- Time: 16:30 – 17:30
- Location: CCCentre, with occasional outdoor sessions at Commonwealth Park or Alameda Gardens (weather permitting)
- Dates: No sessions will be held during midterm, bank holidays, or school holidays.
Attire:
- Children should come in tracksuits or shorts, and are encouraged to wear the official Tai Chi Chen Style T-shirt available for £15.
- This year, we are also introducing Tai Chi trousers for added comfort during sessions.
What to Bring:
- Please ensure your child brings a water bottle to stay hydrated and a healthy snack for after the session.
